Full Tilt Poker has confirmed it will be expanding into online casino games.

Full Tilt Poker, owned by the Rational Group and a sister site of PokerStars, issued a statement to PokerFuse.com Tuesday.

“The Rational Group intends to expand our product offering to include casino style games on Full Tilt Poker.”

“While adding new games, we remain committed to building our leadership in poker with PokerStars and Full Tilt Poker and continuing to deliver the highest quality poker experience to players.”

“These new games on Full Tilt will provide more gaming options with the same high quality player experience, integrity, security, safety and support that players have come to expect from our brands. PokerStars will continue to offer a poker-only experience.”

Of course, US poker players owed millions of dollars from Full Tilt Poker over the past two years have little interest in hearing such news.  The US Attorneys Office in the Southern District of New York is currently overseeing the facilitation of such payments, or shall we say, nonpayments as not a single dollar has been dispersed as of yet.

Meanwhile Full Tilt Poker also announced it will be sponsoring a C$1 million guaranteed Main Event at the FTP Montreal Festival over a 13 day period beginning September 21 (2013).

It will take place at the Playground Poker Club in Kahnawake – just 20 minutes away from downtown Montreal – and will feature a jam-packed schedule of 17 live poker events.
