Full Tilt Poker Set to Re-Launch November 6

Full Tilt Poker has begun verifying the authenticity of customer accounts as it prepares for a re-launch on November 6.

PokerStars acquired the once second largest “real money” online poker room following a settlement agreement with the US Government.  As part of the arrangement, Stars will assume full responsibility for paying out all non-US players owed monies by Full Tilt Poker while the US Government will pay back those Americans who file claims.

Full Tilt Poker is believed to owe several millions of dollars to customers following the site’s closure one year ago.  The US Justice Department has charged two executives of the company with money laundering and bank fraud while seeking fines and asset seizures from other principals, most notably poker pro and FTP stakeholder Howard Lederer.

Below is the email sent out by Full Tilt Poker on Thursday:

As you are aware, Full Tilt Poker is preparing to re-launch by November 6th, 2012.

Action Required: You will need to verify your identity to access your account.*

In the interest of account security and in accordance with the anticipated Isle of Man regulatory requirements, you are required to verify your identity.

Providing valid documentation now will ensure that your account is fully verified and active upon re-launch. Once relaunch and system testing has completed, you will have unrestricted access to your Full Tilt Poker account, including all cashier functionality and poker games.
