A new-ish device, "eDeck", lets you gamble Blackberry/iPhone-style theoretically from anywhere, but currently within the confines of three Las Vegas casinos - the Venetian, Palazzo, and M Resort, according to a report on the Pokerati website.

And guess who's pimping it?

None other than our own sponsor, Doyle Brunson.  The poker icon is prominently featured in an advertisement for the eDeck handheld device.

Cantor Gaming, the company behind the "eDeck" product, announced that it has been recognized by Global Gaming Business Magazine's 8(th) Annual Gaming and Technology Awards for excellence in the category of "Best Table Game Product or Innovation."

"At Cantor Gaming we strive to create cutting edge technology that will transform the gaming experience," said Lee Amaitis, President and CEO of Cantor.  "Cantor's history has been one of building sophisticated and innovative financial trading systems, and we have applied this long track record and expertise to the development of eDeck. We are constantly looking to bring innovation to the gaming sector and are honored to receive this award in recognition of these efforts."
