Golden Opportunity: Jamie Gold’s $1000 an Hour Poker Coaching Gig
It came to light this week that 2008 World Series of Poker Main Event winner Jamie Gold is now charging a $1000 per hour fee for his poker coaching and he appears to have some clientele.
Gold, who was recently named the Tropicana Las Vegas poker room spokesperson, reportedly had five individuals already signed up to receive the poker lessons.
The one time talent agent from Malibu, California enjoyed the biggest cashout in a poker tournament ever, $12 million. He was later ordered to share an undisclosed amount of those winnings with an individual named Crispin Leyser, who was placed in charge of arranging celebrity appearances as part of Gold’s sponsorship agreement with online poker site Bodog.com.
