Gus Hansen vs. Theo Jorgensen Boxing Match a Dud

Something is rotten in Denmark.  Thankfully it is all over now.  The wildly heralded Gus Hansen vs. Theo Jorgensen poker pro boxing match took place in Copenhagen before several thousand people Saturday night.  Both men are among Denmark's most recognizable (and respected) poker players. 

Boxing, however, might not be their forte.

"After the battle went the distance it was up to the judges to decide the winner and Jorgensen won by decision.  The decision was a decided low to Hansen's ego as he appeared to have trained himself into a chiseled physique for the fight.

If Hansen had prevailed, he would have walked away with $25,000.  However after the three exhibition rounds were completed, Hansen was defeated though he did not seem to be at all injured.  In addition to the crowd of poker aficionados, there  were many news outlets and photographers on hand for the fight.  In this regard, Hansen's move was a success as he generated interest in GusHansenTV.com.  So even in defeat, Hansen was a clear winner."
