Iron clad poker legend Doyle Brunson underwent successful surgery over the weekend to have cancer removed from his head.

He tweeted Monday:

Got through surgery at hospital in Phoenix today. All clear.#praisetheLord

Brunson, who has come close to meeting his maker on a number of occasion, is pictured here in a photo obtained by Gambling911.com with an incision that makes it appear as if he had a lobotomy.

The poker ace was diagnosed last month with early stage Melanoma skin cancer and underwent his 12th major surgery.
