Tom “Durrrr” Dwan, who started the challenge, has lost $$692,400 thus far in the head-to-head challenge against rival Daniel “jungleman12” Cates.

Dwan is up in his original challenge verses Patrik Antonius.

In the most recent 958-hand, 90-minute session, Durrrr dropped $172,954.

To date, Cates current winnings exceed $2.2 million.

Cates move into the would of high stakes poker was an aggressive one. In At the start of 2008 he started off playing with blinds of $.25/$.50 No Limit Hold’em then, by year’s end, shifted from micro stakes to high stakes, playing blinds of $25/$50.
