The iPoker Network has remained on top, assuming we were to remove PokerStars from the equation.  For the better part of nearly 5 months, PartyPoker has held a tight grip on the number two spot of most trafficked online poker rooms in the world.  During the month of March, iPoker has regained the position and currently holds a 200 to 250 on average real cash player lead over Party.

That might not last for long as iPoker is rumored to be splitting up into two.  They also lost one of their rooms, Gutshot, to the networks Merge and Enet (the later of which will serve Gutshot’s Italian player base).

PartyPoker might enjoy a bit of a surge over these next few weeks with its Pokerfest set to begin this Friday.

Online poker traffic fell 1.8 percent over the past week according to PokerScout.com.
