It Took 6 Months But Poker Pro Tom Dwan Back on Twitter

Maybe it’s just a coincidence that Tom “Durrrr” Dwan has finally figured out how to get his Twitter account activated after 6 months at a time when rumors have circulated that a deal to purchase Full Tilt Poker in full could happen by month’s end (those of us at Gambling911.com are not holding our breaths on that one).

Dwan, one of the last to be signed on as a Full Tilt Team pro, promised he would pay back players $1 million out of his own pocket should FTP ultimately fold.  Full Tilt has not paid US customers for nearly one year now while players across the globe have waited over nine months following the company’s ultimate closure in late July.  Several bank accounts affiliated with Full Tilt Poker were froze by US law enforcement last April.  Two executives from the firm were charged with money laundering and bank fraud.  Three FTP pros/shareholders in the company were accused by the US Justice Department of running a ponzi scheme.

Much of his tweets thus far have focused on his ineptitude when it comes to using the popular social media outlet.
Dwan’s Twitter account has 70,464 followers.
