Jennifer Tilly, star of the enormously successful slasher film “Bride of Chucky” and an avid poker player, will be appearing in an episode of “The Simpsons” next season.  That episode will involve Lisa discovering that her dad, Homer Simpson, has stashed her college money away in an online poker site (hopefully it wasn’t Full Tilt Poker).  Lisa must then learn how to play the game.

Tilly, who currently provides the voice for Bonnie Swanson on the animated series “The Family Guy”, will play herself.

The star was previously married to “The Simpsons” co-creator and developer Sam Simon, himself an avid poker player.  He was one of the last remaining celebrities still playing in this past year’s World Series of Poker Main Event.

“The Simpsons” is set to enter its 24th season next year.
