Here is something sort of ironic as it relates to the 2012 Aussie Millions event.  Joe Hachem nearly won his own charity event, finishing third.

Not everyone is thrilled about that.  From Poker Jolt:

And to really rub salt in the wounds of the hundreds of assembled players and celebrities - each of whom paid a AUD 1,000 to enter the tournament - Warne ALSO picked up a belting prize.

PokerJolt.com is referring to Shane Warne, spokesperson for 888Poker.com and professional poker players/star Cricket player.

Winning prizes at your own tournament? It's just not cricket.

DOH!!!!!

…..The final table of the 2012 Aussie Millions Event 3 $1,100 NLH Shootout has been determined with Eric Sclavos leading the pack.  Female player Jackie Glazier has also made the cut.

Keep an eye on Glazier as she has been enjoying some degree of success on the live circuit as of late.  She had a win at the ANZPT Melbourne/Season 2 No Limit Hold’em 6 Handed in October 2010 and two big finishes last May:  3rd at the No Limit Hold’em High Stakes and 2nd at the No Limit Hold’em, both as part of the Melbourne Poker Championship.
