Luciaetta Ivey Could Ask For $40 Million From Poker Pro Husband

Following the breaking news on Tuesday that poker pro Phil Ivey and his wife Luciaetta were filing for divorce, the next question on everybody's mind was "How much is she entitled to", barring a prenuptial agreement.

The answer might lie in a lawsuit filed by one time Full Tilt Poker associate Clonie Gowen.

It's no secret that Phil Ivey has some ownership interest in Full Tilt Poker, the number two online poker room.  How much is not fully known.

Gowen had filed suit against the company last year claiming damages of $40, what she claimed to be her rightful percentage of the company - a mere 1 percent ownership.  Gowen was forced out of the company and Full Tilt contends that she was never a shareholder.

Ivey's face is plastered all over the Full Tilt Poker campaigns and he is one of the most recognized names in poker today.  Ironically, he is often referred to as "The Tiger Woods of Poker", bearing a close likeness to the disgraced golfer in appearance, talent and - now it appears - an inability to keep his marriage intact. 

The Gowen lawsuit is telling in that Ivey's "official" earnings are a mere fraction of that $40 million since only live tournament wins are made public.  His yearly salary numbers do not include wins playing online or his reported ownership interest in Full Tilt Poker.
