Marvin ‘MadMarvin’ Guido Rettenmaier Tops Global Poker Index

Poker pro Marvin Rettenmaier has topped the Global Poker Index (GPI) for the last week of February 2013, knocking Dan Smith out of the number one spot.

The German poker player, who currently resides in London, England, finished in 1st place at the EPT Prague tournament held this past December.  He walked away with a cool €365,300.

Last week, Rettenmaier finished 5th at the 2013 Austrian Poker Festival - WPT & GSOP Live No Limit Hold'em - WPT Main Event QE, leaving with €44,790.

Smith dropped two spots.  He finished in 9th place at the NBC Heads-Up Championship last month, winning $25,000.

Lock Poker pro Michael Mizrachi was among the top 10 on this week’s Global Poker Index.  He finished 1st place earlier in the month at the WSOP Circuit – Vanderbijlpark, taking home $101,267.
