The Merge Poker Network has moved up in the ranks following a major deal to bring on Sportsbook.com's thriving customer base.  Just a few days ago, Merge had a mere 200 plus real cash players on average.  Following the move by Sportsbook.com, Merge finds itself with over 400 real cash players, nearly doubling its base. More impressively, Merge peaked at over 800 real cash players during a 24 hour period on Monday.

Sportsbook.com is the biggest online sports wagering website in terms of number of customers.

The popular sports betting website and long time Gambling911.com sponsor was previously on the Cake Poker Network.

Interestingly enough, Cake has only seen a mild decline in recent days.  They were hovering around 2000 real cash players and had averaged about 1700 in recent days.  But Cake did not drop out of the top 10 and retains its number 10 placement with its next nearest competitor, Entraction, down a significant enough margin for Cake to continue holding the 10 spot.  Cake is also within striking distance of Microgaming (at the number 9 position).

It is likely Cake Poker will make up for the Sportsbook.com loss after signing on some new poker rooms in the last couple of days.
