Merge Poker had been sitting at number 10 in terms of overall worldwide traffic pretty shortly after re-entering the North American market this past fall.  Since that time, Merge has been creeping up towards the top 5, landing in the number 8 spot this week.

Year over year traffic for Merge is up 91 percent.  The poker network, which now has four of its brands featured prominently as sponsors of the Gambling911.com website, is nipping at the heels of Winamax.fr in the number 7 spot, with just under 200 more players on average.  PokerStars.it had approximately 350 more average players and currently sits in the number 6 spot.  Merge was comfortably leading Microgaming with around 200 more average players.  Microgaming has remained fairly stagnant over the past 6 months.
