After serious allegations against poker player Nick Vertucci of sexual harassment and inappropriate behavior, Hustler Casino Live has issued a statement saying that the co-owner of the popular stream will no longer be involved with the company.

Poker player Julia McBride was the first to make the allegations over the weekend and Hustler Casino Live issued its statement early Wednesday afternoon.

"Effective immediately, Nick Vertucci will no longer be involved with High Stakes Poker Productions. We look forward to continuing to deliver the best high stakes poker content to the community."

Poker pro Veronica Brill said of Vertucci that he's "a liar, a manipulator," adding that "he lied to me about everything".

In a video appearing on Poker.org, Brill offered the following:

  •     How she was with Vertucci when the story first broke, and how he reacted
  •     The embarrassment she feels at believing Vertucci’s lies and trusting him for so long
  •     How he was initially ‘creepy’ with her when they first met, and that she insisted he change his behavior if they were to work together
  •     Her belief that Vertucci 'lives in a different world' and does not have 'the capacity to understand what he's doing'
  •     Her conversations this week with some of the women who have come forward with accusations
  •     Vertucci’s approach to running HCL ‘like a mafia’, demanding loyalty from players and requiring them to not play in certain rival games
  •     Her thoughts on the future for HCL and producers Vertucci and Ryan Feldman
