Entraction Poker

Entraction is a European-based online poker room that is trying to crack the world's top 10 largest and Gambling911.com believes they could do just that by next month.  The online poker room has jumped from an average of 1000 "real cash" players just four months ago to over 1500 "real cash" players on average and is just barely being fended off by both Cake Poker and Microgaming.

This online poker room review looks at some of the pros and cons presented by readers of PokerSiteScout.com, a website that measures the real time traffic in these rooms.  They have expanded to follow a larger number of networks and rooms, some of which barely have 25 people playing at one time.

Entraction's vision: The Entraction Group shall be one of the world's three largest suppliers within the digital gaming industry.

They may be well on their way.  It's not quite clear what Entraction is doing to gain sudden market share after seemingly lagging for some time.

Net sales amounted to SEK 326.7 (243.3) million, an increase of 34.3% this past year, and those numbers look to be growing dramatically.

July thru September numbers showed net sales amounted to SEK 98.8 (86.2) million, an increase of 14.6%.

The number of registered players at the end of the period was 1 834,278 (1,272,826), which is an increase of 44%.

The number of active players during the quarter was 131,842 (81,872), an increase of 61%.

These numbers are not exclusive to online poker as the company also provides a portfolio of casino and bingo games.

Entraction, as of February 15, 2010, was not a paid sponsor of the Gambling911.com website.

This online poker review looks at some of what we believe to be "unbiased" comments appearing on the PokerSiteScout.com website.

Among the positives:  The "soft" competition (fewer "sharks" or pros), software is quick (and maybe quicker since the latest release this past year), support is quick to respond to emails, good for multi-tabling, great bonus program, 5 card draw with 6 players at the table is extra nice.

Negatives include:  Lacking in tournament schedules, rakeback is good but not the best on the market, apparently you can't see the dealer and that has made some players suspicious (within the past 6 months in fact) and there seems to be some negative feedback related to their 24Poker.com online poker room.  In fairness though, Gambling911.com really couldn't find anything substantial involving complaints lodged against 24Poker.com so it is possible some of what we are reading is posted by competitors or a single losing player.  One review, which seems valid considering they start off by saying how much they've enjoyed playing on Entraction in the past, suggests that the dealing algorithm has been a little "weird" since changes were made to the software.

Overall, the Entraction Network gets good reviews.  Try them and post your feedback below by clicking on the COMMENTS link.
