After near stagnant growth last week, online poker “real cash” traffic rose 1.6 percent as reported by the monitoring website PokerScout.com.

Full Tilt Poker, the world’s second largest room/network, gained 7 percent.

PokerScout.com noted that Everest Poker, which once ranked as the 6th largest online poker network, this week dropped out of the top 20.  It’s French online poker arm ranked number 15, however. The combined traffic of the two Everest Poker sites is down only 2.5 percent from this same period last year.

Another interesting development this week is Ongame’s Italian poker room entering the rankings at number 14 while its French room moved into the number 19 position (pushing Everest out of the top 20).  The Ongame network, which feeds many large company sites across Europe, continued to hold onto the number 5 spot.
