We are just a few weeks into 2010 and Patrik Antonius is already among the year's biggest losers.  In fact, he's the second biggest loser according to Poker Listings, with only Brian Townsend having a worse year thus far.

Perhaps Antonius has begun to turn things around with Super Bowl Sunday play.

From PokerListings.com:

Just about every big name in online poker was at the high-stakes tables on Super Bowl Sunday, but in the end it was Patrik Antonius who booked the top spot with a $577k win.

Antonius's first match started in the early morning hours Sunday on his personal $500/$1,000 Pot-Limit Omaha table against world1969.

Rumored to be Johnny "World" Hennigan, world1969 lasted only 16 hands against Antonius before losing a $212k pot and leaving the match down $191k.

The Finnish former tennis player and one time model has won over $2.5 million in live tournament play to date but is mostly observed through his online play. In November 2009 Antonius won the biggest pot in online poker history worth $1,356,946 against Isildur1.

Antonius made news during the 2009 World Series of Poker when he was turned away along with hundreds of others due to a capacity field.
