Phil Hellmuth to Swap His Wife for Another: She Refuses

Poker pro and record World Series of Poker bracelet holder Phil Hellmuth received an offer to swap his wife but his wife it seems turned it down.

CardPlayer.com picked up on this tweet from Hellmuth Wednesday:

Have an offer to be on ABC television show "Wife Swap," but wife won't do it! Though I'm SURE she would look amazing! #WifeIsAwesome

Hellmuth is becoming a bona fide celebrity outside the poker realm, albeit he’s not exactly an A-lister like say Jennifer Tilly.

He recently appeared in a Carl’s Jr. commercial, if you can call that being a celebrity.

“Wife Swap” is the long-running ABC reality series that debuted in 2004 with a premise that two different families from opposite sides of the tracks – so to speak – swap wives/mothers and sometimes husbands.

The swapped couples do not have sex.

And yes, there was even a Celebrity Daughter Swap between the late great comediane Joan Rivers and former Alaska Governor and VP candidate Sarah Palin.  Watch below.
