Phil Ivey Hungry for World Series of Poker Bracelet Number 9: Leads Event 24

Poker pro Phil Ivey continued to hold the chip lead heading towards Midnight Pacific Time at WSOP Event 24:  Omaha Hi-Low Split-8 or Better.  A win would mean Ivey’s 9^th World Series of Poker bracelet.

This event had 4 remaining following the elimination of Gregory Jamison in 5th Place ($77,342) right around 11 pm PST.

Ivey had both Joe Cassidy and Scotty Nguyen breathing down his back. 

Nguyen was shooting for his 6^th WSOP bracelet, making this one of the most riveting events of this year’s World Series of Poker thus far.

Meng La sat in 4^th place at press time.
