Phil Ivey Scene From ‘Bet, Raise, Fold’ Poker Film Deleted: ‘Ivey is God’ (Video)
Poker pro Chris Ferguson may have believed he could walk on water prior to being implicated in a ponzi scheme related to Full Tilt Poker. Ferguson, a self-professed atheist, referred to himself as “Jesus”.
Now we have “God” and that would be Phil Ivey.
The highly anticipated upcoming film “Bet, Raise, Fold – The Story of Online Poker” (due out in June), deleted a scene featuring one of poker’s most successful players.
The scene in question is titled “Ivey is God”. Some in the poker community no doubt believe this to be the case.
Ivey’s ex, on the other hand, probably sees him more like Satan.
The Nevada Supreme Court ruled against Luciaetta Ivey in her claim that she was treated unfairly in their 2009 divorce case.
The former Ms. Ivey did walk away with a purse collection worth $1.2 million, jewelry worth close to that amount and nearly $200,000 in alimony. Not bad!
