Last year’s World Series of Poker Main Event runner up, John Racener, won’t be winning any Emmy Awards for his performance on this past weekend’s installment of the hit HBO series Entourage.

One reaction from the TwoPlusTwo.com forum:

just watched the episode.. i don't know if I noticed his terrible acting just because I knew he was there. i mean, i don't know if i would notice if i didn't know who he was, but wow.. that's gotta be the worst acting I have ever seen. makes me wanna watch the final table again and try to notice if he acts in any hand.

Racener appeared alongside Andrew Dice Clay in this episode.

There is actually a trailer on YouTube for a John Racener movie where his mom talks about how drinking makes the poker player “stupid”.

She’s right.  He’s landed multiple DWIs as a result of his drinking.

Maybe cashing out for well over a million dollars at last year’s WSOP and his newfound acting career will change him.

Mom insisted he hadn’t drank at all during the World Series of Poker Final event.
