ONCHAN, Isle of Man – PokerStars today launched casino games in Spain on the brand’s marketing leading gaming site www.PokerStars.ES, marking the first time PokerStars has offered games other than poker on its platform.

The addition of casino games to PokerStars will allow Spanish players to enjoy the thrill and excitement of casino games, with the fairness, trust, integrity, world-class customer support and product innovation that distinguishes PokerStars in the online gaming industry.

Blackjack and Roulette will be offered on PokerStars.ES and, along with continued growth in social gaming options, will help maintain the brand’s leading position in online poker in Spain.  Casino games will complement poker offerings by providing more reasons to more players to play at PokerStars.

“We know that many of our customers are enjoying online casino games on competing platforms and our offering will enhance their experience with PokerStars and provide a safe, trusted and convenient way for them to be entertained,” said Gino Appiotti, President of Southern Europe for PokerStars.  “PokerStars aims to remain as the number one poker operator in Spain and strongly believes that in this market, adding casino games is the best way to serve players.”
