The halfway point has passed with 53 events completed, and MicroMillions III is on course to demolish the $5 million guarantee, having already paid out more than $4 million to players.
The biggest winner yesterday was ‘Kareke151’ from Kazakhstan, who scooped the first prize of $12,780.72 after triumphing in the $2.20+R NL Hold’em [Ante-Up, Turbo] event.
There was also much to celebrate for one of the smallest countries in the world, as ‘xxolavurxx’ delivered the Faroe Islands’ first ever MicroMillions tournament victory, the player netting the top prize of $7,390.55.
Meanwhile, Event 48 winner, ‘Phillipito’ from Portugal, was celebrating a true micro-stakes victory after qualifying for just $0.40 and winning the first prize of $2,382.60 for an ROI of 595,550%.
