PokerStars MicroMillions Returns in November With $5 Million Guaranteed
PokerStars today announced a $5 million guaranteed prize pool for the third installment of MicroMillions, the popular micro-stakes online tournament series launched earlier this year. The upcoming festival will take place from November 15-25, and feature 100 tournaments with buy-ins ranging from just 11 cents to $22.
The series will culminate with a $22 buy-in No Limit Hold’em Main Event with a guaranteed $1 million prize pool on Sunday, November 25 at 14.30 ET (20.30 CET). The winner of the tournament is guaranteed a minimum of $150,000.
Unlike other online poker festivals that feature just two or three tournaments a day, MicroMillions has up to ten per day. With tournaments starting every two or three hours each day, players from all over the world get the best possible chance to take part. The MicroMillions series complements PokerStars’ other online festival offerings, which include the most prestigious and richest series in online poker – the World Championship of Online Poker (WCOOP) and Spring Championship of Online Poker (SCOOP) – along with the Turbo Championship of Online Poker (TCOOP).

MicroMillions statistics
The first MicroMillions festival set a record for most popular online poker tournament series of all time, with a total of 1,294,883 entries.
Argentinean player ‘SoyDelGlobo’ won the largest MicroMillions prize to date after topping a field of 65,063 players to take down the MicroMillions II Main Event for $157,218.68.
Russia has been the most active and successful country in the series with a total of 424,732 entries, 41 event winners, 261 final table appearances, and 50,432 cashes totalling $2,325,527.77.
