Celebrity Apprentice runner-up Annie Duke, actor Don Cheadle and the best poker pros in the world are the featured participants competing for the $500,000 first-place prize in NBC's 6th Annual National Heads-Up Poker Championship presented by GoDaddy.com, which premieres Sunday, April 18 at Noon - 1PM ET/9:00-10:00 AM PT on NBC. Heads-Up airs for six consecutive weeks in that time slot.

The National Heads-Up Poker Championship, which was taped at the Caesars Palace Poker Room March 5-7, features 64 top poker players competing in a series of heads-up (one-on-one games of No Limit Texas Hold'em) matches to determine the best heads-up poker player in the world.  This tournament has a unique, single-elimination, bracket-style format modeled after college basketball's championship tournament, except that the finals are the best of three.

The tournament's invite-only format (plus 7 online qualifiers) guarantees a star-studded event of poker's elite, including defending champion Huck Seed, Chris Ferguson, 2009 World Series of Poker main event champion Joe Cada, Doyle Brunson, Johnny Chan, Phil Hellmuth, Phil Ivey and Daniel Negreanu, among others.

GoDaddy.com is the presenting sponsor of the broadcast and the premiere episode will feature action from the Spades bracket.

Episodes of the NHUPC will also be available online at Hulu.com. More information is available at http://nbcsports.msnbc.com/id/23011821
