Raffaele Sorrentino Leads EPT 11 London Main Event for Day 3

Italian player Raffaele Sorrentino is leading the 127 remaining players heading in to Day 3 of the £4,150 EPT 11 London Main Event. He has 491,400. A whole bunch of team PokerStars Pros are also still in including Johnny Lodden, Jake Cody, Liv Boeree and Team Online's Marc-Andre Ladouceur.

There were 675 entries in total - including seven players who registered just before start of play today - creating a £2,619,000 prize pool. The winner will get £499,700 with 95 players paid. As well as their cash prize and trophy, the new EPT London champion will also receive a stunning “Black and Steel” watch from luxury Swiss brand SLYDE, the Official Watch Sponsor for EPT Season 11 Main Events and High Rollers.

Last season Swedish pro Robin Ylitalo defeated a 604-strong field for a £560,980 first prize. 87 players snagged a share of the £2,929,400 prize pool.

The 11-day festival, running October 8-18, features 45 different tournaments at the stunning Grand Connaught Rooms in London's West End with cash games running 24/7 at The Hippodrome Casino. The festival includes the £4,250 EPT Main Event and the £10k EPT London High Roller. Tomorrow's highlights include the £2,000 + £200 NL - Holdem Event #25, and the media tournament.
