Indicted by the US Justice Department for money laundering and bank fraud, Full Tilt Poker head Ray Bitar was reportedly voted out as CEO of the troubled online poker firm.

Last week, The Alderney Gambling Control Commission (AGCC) essentially shut down Full Tilt Poker by suspending its license and cutting off the website.  Players have been unable to access the site for real money play.

WickedChopsPoker.com was reporting on the Bitar ouster and also was hearing that AGCC may soon restore the license.   Gambling911.com advises, don’t hold your breath.  Still, it could happen as early as Friday, WCP suggests.

Last week, attorneys for the company claimed European investors were in the process of taking control, but no specific names mentioned and affected customers will likely have to wait weeks to be paid.

US players have been waiting close to three months for payments from Full Tilt Poker.
