Veteran poker pro Shannon Shorr has just won the largest PokerGo Tour prize ever.

Event #2 of the PokerGO Tour Last Chance series paid out a sweet $297,500, making it the largest largest-ever $10K event win in PGT history.

Shorr topped Joe Serock in a heads-up duel that began with the players nearly even but lasted just two hands.

Launched in April, 2021, the PokerGO Tour was created for poker players that played in high roller poker tournaments and welcomes those across the globe. The top three finishers would share in $175,000 in prize money, and when residential mortgage company Guaranteed Rate was announced as the presenting sponsor in September, the prize money was increased to $350,000.

Shorr is a familiar face on the poker scene.  His live career tournament winnings (not including online) have now topped the $14 million mark.

Back in June of this past year, he finished 2nd at the $ 3,500 No Limit Hold'em - BetMGM Poker Championship and cashed out a cool $430,367.

The Birmingham, Alabama's first big cash out came in 2006 with a fourth-place finish at the 2006 Aussie Millions tournament in Melbourne, Australia, where he won more than $200,000.
