Simon Mattsson Leads After Day 4 of EPT Prague

EPT regular Simon Mattsson, third in the EPT Barcelona €2k side event in August for €37,900, is leading the 61 players who will be back for day 4 of the EPT11 Prague Main Event. The 21-year-old has 1,790,000 in chips.

All 61 remaining players are guaranteed to earn at least €14,230. Team PokerStars Pros Vanessa Selbst and George Danzer are both still in but Eugene Katchalov bust in the penultimate hand of the day. Also still in are EPT champions EPT8 Berlin champion Davidi Kitai from Belgium (with 1,364,000) and EPT9 Deauville winner Remi Castaignon (with 511,000). The event attracted a record-breaking 1,107 players (exactly 100 more than last season) generating a €5,368,950 prize pool with a €969,000 first prize, trophy and SLYDE watch for the winner.

Others who go into Day 4 with big stacks include American Stephen Graner, sixth in the WSOP Millionaire Maker event and Greek pro Miltiadis Kyriakides, who was third in the WSOP $10k PLO this summer. Eureka Prague Main Event champion Balazs Botond is also still in.
