Poker players at Americas Cardroom will wake up today to a big surprise. The US-friendly online poker site has added a $50 bonus to every player's account. "With the temperatures outside we know poker players are looking for reasons to stay inside playing poker. With our HOT $50 Bonus we are simply making the choice a lot easier", stated Americas Cardroom spokesperson Michael Harris.
To claim the bonus, online poker players will have to log in to their Americas Cardroom account before August 4th, which is when the bonus expires if not used. To track their progress players will need to click the Rewards tab and select the Bonuses section where they'll see the Bonus Management tool with all the bonus details.
For every 55 Rank Points earned, Americas Cardroom will convert $2 of the bonus money into real cash. Rank Points are Americas Cardroom's loyalty points which determine a player's status in Elite Benefits, Americas Cardroom's loyalty program.
Once bonus dollars have been converted into real money, players can use the extra cash to enter a number of big tournaments, including this Sunday's $50,000 Guaranteed tourney at 7:00pm ET and the Punta Cana Poker Classic $5,000 Premium Package Guarantee at 7:30pm ET. Each Punta Cana package includes one Main Event buy-in, 6-nights hotel accommodations for two, all-you-can-handle food and drinks (alcohol included) for two, airfare up to $800, a $1,500 resort credit, and more.
Entering its third year, the Punta Cana Poker Classic tournament takes place at the Vegas-style Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Dominican Republic from October 12th through 18th with a guaranteed prize pool of $500,000.
