Two of the biggest names in the modern day of poker, Tom “Durrrr” Dwan and Viktor “Isildur1”, have been announced as the latest signings for the reincarnated Full Tilt Poker.

FTP is scheduled to come back online the first week in November.  Dwan had represented the company previously while Blom was signed on with PokerStars, which is currently the world’s largest real money poker site and new parent company of Full Tilt Poker.

After bank accounts were froze by US Authorities on April 15, 2011, Dwan made news by announcing he would pay out millions from his own pocket in the event FTP did not pay.  Stars has assured that all players outside the US will be paid while the US Attorney’s Office in the Southern District of New York is in the process of making arrangements to have funds returned to those players residing in the States.

Needless-to-say, Dwan could not have been happier about the sale of Full Tilt Poker to Stars.

“I’m very excited that Full Tilt Poker is re-launching,” he said after the deal was announced during the summer.  “I think it is great for poker and I’m excited to be a part of it.”

Blom had this to offer about the signing:  “I always loved playing on the Full Tilt Poker software, it is where I made my name and enjoyed some of my greatest victories. When they approached me about joining the team I knew this was the right fit for me.”

More big name signings were anticipated in the coming weeks.
