Tom Durrrr Dwan Up Nearly $1 Million In August
Online poker phenom Tom Durrrr Dwan was up $911,148 so far this month after getting dismantled at this year’s World Series of Poker in Las Vegas. Dwan’s specialty remains high stakes poker games on the Web, mostly at Full Tilt Poker, where he is a paid representative for that company.
But $1 million is hardly a dent in the reported $8 million Dwan was said to have been down during the WSOP.
Dwan had anywhere from $5 to $15 million on the line in prop bets.
Still, Gambling911.com can report that Dwan is up $3.9 million in 2010 despite the crazy roller coaster ride.
Earlier last week, Dwan crushed foe Patrik Antonius to the tune of $460K as part of the never-ending Durrrr challenge. However, he also diversified his profits portfolio against a roster of players including Niki Jedlicka, Jani Vilmunen, and Luukie21. He alternated between heads up $100/$200 No Limit Hold ‘em and 6-max $100/$200 Pot Limit Omaha and fared quite well in each. He has reportedly netted over $1 Million in under a week, including the Antonius money.
