At this rate it may be a full month that the popular Two Plus Two poker posting forum remains offline following a hacking compromise on April 26.  The site issued at statement that a “conservative target date for coming back online will be May 12”.

On April 26th at approximately 11:20 AM pacific time, the Two Plus Two Forums were closed as a result of a hacker who has displayed the ability to access e-mail addresses and encrypted passwords.  He also indicated the ability to decrypt passwords.

Security analysts were brought in to ensure such a hacking could not occur in the future.  A number of posting forum members have since gone on record as saying they use the same password information on the Two Plus Two forum as that which is utilized for online banking.

TwoPlusTwo.com is arguably the most read posting forum pertaining to poker.  It is not uncommon to see critical message board threads receive tens of thousands of views within a 12 hour period of publication.
