In November, The Ukraine’s Anton Makiievskyi will be part of the 2011 World Series of Poker November Nine final table.  He will hope to emulate the success of four other Ukrainian players who won bracelets at this year’s WSOP.  Make no mistake about it, the Ukraine representation at the 2011 World Series of Poker was a force to be reckoned with.

Just 21 years old, Makievskyi's appreciation of his present surroundings is evident in his enthusiasm.

"I just don't believe everything that's happening now," said the young Ukrainian. "I understand that I may not have any other chances in life like this, but I don't feel it. I just play my game. I just push all-in when I need to push all-in."

While Makievskyiis one of the lowest two stacks, but is not in serious danger of busting soon because he has several rounds of blinds and antes.

Four nations, including the Ukraine, have a finalist in the poker championship for the first time ever. Belize, Czech Republic and – surprisingly Germany – are the other three.  Players from the USA, UK and Ireland are also represented.
