Leading European online poker room Unibet is set to launch the new fast-paced poker platform aptly named Fast Poker within the next 30 days (April 2012).

Fast Poker allows a pool of players to move quickly to a new table once finishing their hands, either by folding or showdown.  The model is similar to that of Rush Poker, a popular platform run by the now defunct Full Tilt Poker.  Fast Poker is currently competing with another new launch, PokerStars Zoom Poker.

Patrik Österåker, CEO of Relax Gaming Network Ltd. has commented “We are thrilled to launch Relax Fast Poker Network together with some of the very leading names in the industry. We look forward to the launch and are sure more operators will join in. Fast Poker has the potential to make Poker really hot again, it’s fun, fast and easy, a great way of playing Poker”.

Unibet’s Head of Gaming, Daniel Eskola has said of Fast Poker: “This is a major, exciting development in the online poker world which offers players a new, fun spin on poker without losing the essence of game. We are very much looking forward to strengthening our existing poker offering by working with Relax Gaming and have high hopes that our poker players will enjoy this new poker product.”
