Victory Poker CEO Excited About Move To Cake
The outspoken CEO, Dan Fleyshman, of Victory Poker has already confirmed his card room’s move to the prominent Cake Poker Network. Cake, the 4th largest online poker room marketing to North American players, will gain a somewhat established skin, which will increase its player base across the board.
Though Victory Poker has only served the online poker playing public for approximately a year, the card room has marketed more aggressively than most of its peers. It also employs a number of big name pros. Victory has so far operated on the fledgling Everleaf network.
This past week, Fleyshman told another news media outlet how excited he was to be joining a network already graced by big name pros the likes of Doyle Brunson and Phil Laak.
Another focus will be on the expansive variety of cash games and special promotions available at Cake Poker, as well as those world famous bounty tournaments that will highlight Victory’s pros in green and allow poker players to claim up to $15,000 weekly just for knocking out said pros.
"I'm truly excited about the next chapter for Victory Poker,” stated Fleyshman. Being on Cake will give our players access to a multitude of tournaments, cash games, and special promotions. Cake will ensure our players get to enjoy 20k to 100k guaranteed tournaments every day, as well as the new and exciting ‘Gold Chips/Gold Cards’ rewards systems.”
What Fleyshman didn’t say is what other operators have suggested to Gambling911.com: Everleaf’s support is simply not up to par, nor have they engaged in any type of marketing across the Net that would boost their lagging profile.
Cake's Marketing Director Andrew Turner commented about bringing Victory on board: "We are very excited to welcome Victory Poker to the Cake Network. Victory Poker is a great partner for us as they bring a strong brand with a diverse and eclectic group of players to the network.”
Since its inception, Fleyshman has recruited a healthy mix of tournament veterans, online name makers, and young cash game specialists to represent the site. Team Victory players include Antonio Esfandiari, Andrew "Good2CU" Robl, Keith "The Machine" Gipson, PLO specialist Brian Rast, Dan "Blitz" Bilzerian, 2005 World Series of Poker Main Event runner-up Paul Wasicka, former World Poker Tour Player of the Year Jonathan “FieryJustice” Little, Lee Markholt, Danny "Chinese Poker Wizard"
The move will take place next week, September 1.
