WSOP Masseuse Sophie Lonsinger Hot Tips: Doyle Brunson Wants Happy Ending (Video)
Sophie Lonsinger, massage therapist to the pros, shared some quick tips with PokerNews.com on how to revitalise your body and mind while playing a long poker session.
They are going to need Ms. Lonsinger’s expertise as the days continue to drag on.
As of late Thursday evening, just under 1000 players remained in the 2013 World Series of Poker Main Event.
Two of the bigger names that stood out among the top chip leaders were Lock Poker female pros Melanie Weisner and Annette Obrestad. Weisner had the 15th biggest stack at press time 8 pm Pacific Time. Obrestad was coming in with the 29th largest stack
Heading into Day 2, another big name Lock Poker pro, Michael Mizrachi, was among the top 10 chip leaders though he had taken a huge hit during the day Thursday.
Phil Ivey was also experiencing some success during Day 2, ranking among the top 40 chip leaders.
And while these may be some of the biggest name pros in the biz, all eyes were glued to poker legend Doyle Brunson, who ranked 27th in total chips at press time late Thursday. Brunson, who turns 80 next month, originally vowed not to take part in this year’s WSOP Main Event.
No doubt Doyle is hoping for a happy ending to what may very well be his last appearance at a World Series of Poker event (though we certainly hope not).
