There will be a very big name winning the 2009 World Series of Poker Europe and probably any minute now.  The two remaining players at the WSOPE were none other than Daniel Negreanu and Barry Shulman.  Fri, 02 Oct 2009 05:19:45 was the finishing time as Barry Shulman ultimately walked away from the table victorious.

But both players were thoroughly applauded as the final hurdle was leaped. Daniel Negreanu might have come so close only to miss out on the bracelet, but knowing that he's now topping the All-Time Money List must, surely, be some consolation for when he goes home and googles himself. That in itself is an achievement stretching beyond this one, admittedly highly prestigious, tournament.

Negreanu is one of the most famous faces in poker today.  He has won over $11 million in live tournaments during his career.

Shulman is the father of 2009 World Series of Poker final table participant Jeff Shulman.  The Shulmans run Card Player Magazine.

The final placements at the 2009 WSOPE final table were as follows:

1. Daniel Negreanu

6,180,000

2. Barry Shulman

3,855,000

3. Praz Bansi

4. Jason Mercier
