Well, I guess that depends on how you define "functioning," but the shutdown is over and people are getting paid again. 

What are the chances we see another shutdown in early 2026? The oddsmakers don't foresee another occurrence as they're projecting just a 25% chance that it happens in Q1 next year.

In other politics news, we saw the BBC issue an apology to President Trump regarding the edited documentary. Will Trump receive compensation for any kind of libel damages...the odds suggest he will get some moola just as he did from other media corporations.

Finally, not sure if you heard but Jack Schlossberg, the grandson of John F. Kennedy, is running for Jerry Nadler's Manhattan congressional seat.
