September 27, 2016 – It’s safe to say that the most watched Presidential debate in history came in UNDER the 97.5 million posted by oddsmakers at MyBookie but the final tally was strong nonetheless at 80.5 million plus.

The UNDER was favored at -130.

The 80.5 million number, spread across 12 channels, had not yet counted PBS or CSPN ratings, which were expected to be nominal.

Still, the actual viewership was way higher than any official amount as business establishments such as restaurants and bars where hundreds of people could have been watching in one location were not factored in.

Also not counted was those streaming the debate via the Internet.
