Prediction markets give UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer a 56% chance of exiting by the end of June
Traders at Polymarket overwhelmingly believe Starmer will be gone by the end of this year at 84%

Traders at the prediction market Polymarket are mostly in agreement that Keir Starmer will be gone as the United Kingdom prime minister by June 30, giving this a 56% of happening. They are nearly unanimous at 84% that this will occur by year's end.
Starmer told members of his Cabinet on Tuesday that he has no intention of resigning as calls within his Labour Party for him to step down grew louder after his party suffered big losses last week in British elections.
On Tuesday, Miatta Fahnbulleh, minister of housing, communities and local government, became the first member of his government to step down, urging Starmer “to do the right thing for the country” and set a timetable for his departure.
No candidate has yet come forward to challenge Starmer directly.
Around 80 Labour backbenchers have now said Starmer should stand down or at least set out a timetable for his departure, but that’s not enough to trigger a leadership contest. Under Labour party rules, a fifth of its lawmakers in the House of Commons, or 81 members, must publicly give their backing to a single candidate, and that hasn’t happened yet.
