Mikie Sherrill Odds of Becoming Next New Jersey Governor Now -600, Margin of Victory Betting Available Too
One of the more exciting political races this Tuesday in the US is most certainly the New Jersey Governor race where Democrat Mikie Sherrill is now the clear favorite to win (-600). Those odds are similar to a line you would see on the Chiefs beating the Jets in Kansas City (ouch).
This wasn't always the case as Jack Ciattarelli (R), now paying out $425 for every $100 bet to win, kept this one relatively close (by NJ standards at least).
Former President Barack Obama is encouraging voters to elect Democratic governors in Virginia and New Jersey in races this Tuesday to rebuke Donald Trump 10 months into his second presidency and a year ahead of midterm elections that could reshape it.

Obama’s appearances Saturday for Abigail Spanberger and Sherrill contrast with Trump spending the weekend at his Mar-a-Lago estate in Florida, leaving Republicans Winsome Earle-Sears in Virginia and Jack Ciattarelli in New Jersey to campaign for themselves.
Political betting interest is really heating up here at Gambling911.com with the Minneapolis Mayoral race drawing the most queries over the weekend.

Next, another 2026 race attracting headlines for the wrong reasons, at least as far as the Democrats are concerned, but Maine enters as a vital race the U.S. Senate.
Graham Platner – a progressive endorsed by Bernie Sanders – admitted yesterday that he had a skull tattoo associated with the Nazis that he unwittingly got while serving as a 23-year-old Marine. Platner had been the early favorite, but had already fallen behind Governor Janet Mills after she entered the race last week. Mills is now a very strong favorite.

Of the two big Governor races scheduled for November 4, New Jersey looks to be the more interesting by a wide margin.
Republicans came close to pulling off a huge upset in the previous gubernatorial race in NJ, and we have seen a ton of money come in backing Jack Ciattarelli. Nevertheless, Mikie Sherrill remains a firm favorite for the Democrats.
