Many of Tuesday night's June 2 primaries have yet to be confirmed, but we have a couple of big upsets to report from BetOnline.
In the New Jersey Republican Senate race, Justin Murphy was an 80/1 underdog. Alex Zdan was a massive favorite going into Tuesday and lost.
Some analysts are suggesting this had more to do with a fragmented four-way field where no candidate was especially well-known statewide.
It is noteworthy, however, that New Jersey conservative radio personality Bill Spadea publicly endorsed Murphy before the primary, which may have helped among active GOP voters.
BetOnline is typically accurate when it comes to political races, but kudos to anyone who backed Murphy.
For the House NJ-02 Democrat primary, Zack Mullock was an 8/1 dog against Tim Alexander and Bayly Winder.
In Iowa, the heavy favorite Josh Turek easily prevailed, and now he'll square off against Ashley Hinson for the U.S. Senate midterm in November. Turek is a -20000 favorite in that matchup, giving him a 99.5% change of victory.
Finally, the South Dakota Governor race will head to a runoff between Toby Doeden and Larry Rhoden. The former is a slight favorite.
