BetOnline on Monday morning had moved South Dakota Governor Kristi Noem's Vice Presidential odds from 10-1 (third shortest) to 20-1 in the wake of a shock news report that she had killed her puppy and a goat, throwing both in a ditch.

Noem admitted to killing her 14 month old pooch, Cricket, because he was "untrainable".

"I hated that dog," Noem writes in a soon-to-be-release memoir.

As if that weren't bad enough, the blood thirsty Governor would go on to blow the brains out of a goat.

The goat she called “nasty and mean" and shot him twice, because the goat dared to move after the first bullet hit.

Donald Trump, the presumptive GOP nominee for president, is rumored to have soured on Noem prior to these revelations.

According to The Guardian, Noem said she included the grisly story to demonstrate her readiness in politics to do what needs to be done, even if it's "difficult, messy and ugly."

Noem has tried to defend these actions by claiming she was following South Dakota law and that the incident happened 20 years ago.

Animal welfare organizations decried Noem for killing the dog.

Politicians in both parties have been posting photos of themselves with their beloved furry friends, including Hillary Clinton, Ron DeSantis and even Arizona Republican Senate candidate Kari Lake.
