OAKLAND PARK, Fla. (Gambling911.com) — Fresh polls indicate the Democrats appear to be gaining some ground in the Florida governor's race between Republican candidate Byron Donalds and Democratic candidate David Jolly.
The latest poll from the left-leaning Change Research gives Jolly the edge, 46% to Donalds' 40%.
According to the newest survey from the University of North Florida Public Opinion Research Lab, Donalds leads the likely November matchup 46% to 41%.

“Many Floridians are concerned about affordability,” Jewett said, “and President Trump said that he was going to do something about affordability when he was elected president a couple of years ago, and so far, it hasn't happened."
While BetOnline had briefly pulled its Florida governor odds Wednesday in order to reassess the latest data and perhaps - even more likely - a sudden influx of betting on this race in light of the latest polls, prediction markets still had Donalds with an 80% chance of winning this November.
