Wayne Allyn Root, the Las Vegas-based nationally recognized Libertarian-conservative political leader, speaker, author television personality and frequent contributor to the Gambling911.com website has agreed to speak at the Tea Party Express event in Searchlight on March 27th.   There he will join Sarah Palin, who is also slated to speak at the event.  Both Root and Palin were Vice Presidential candidates for two of the three main US political parties.

Root, who calls himself a "Reagan Libertarian" was the 2008 Libertarian Vice Presidential nominee, as well as the author of the Amazon best-seller "The Conscience of a Libertarian: Empowering the Citizen Revolution with God, Guns, Gambling & Tax Cuts." The book has been an Amazon bestseller in the category of "Libertarian books" for 7 months.

Root, a regular guest on FOX News and FOX Business said,

"What an honor to be invited to speak at the first stop of the cross-country Tea Party Express. This Tea Party movement is the start of a new American Revolution. I am proud to be fighting it alongside patriots such as Sarah Palin. It's time for the citizens to take back their government. I am proud to call myself a citizen politician from the great state of Nevada."

"Perhaps it took a small businessman, son of a butcher, homeschool dad, and Las Vegas oddsmaker turned Vice Presidential nominee to predict the birth of this movement. Long before there was any Tea Party, my book predicted a citizen revolution made up of concerned and outraged taxpayers, conservatives, Libertarians, independents, Christians, gun owners, small business owners, smaller government advocates, and anti-tax enthusiasts. That moment and movement has arrived."
