Thomas Crooks reportedly left a cryptic message on a gaming platform shortly before he tried assassinating Donald Trump at a Pennsylvania rally last Saturday, according to a Fox News report.

Crooks posted "July 13 will be my premiere, watch as it unfolds."

The message was posted on the Steam platform.

The discovery was made as investigators continue to review Crooks’ technological devices, including his cell phones and laptop.
Investigators reportedly found searches on Crooks' laptop including, "Trump, Biden, when is DNC convention, and July 13 Trump rally."

Whatever his motive, Trump, the GOP nominee for President of the United States, became an even bigger favorite to be elected in November.

BetOnline had initially removed its election odds following the shooting.  Once back up two hours later, Trump rose from the -180 favorite to -300, a 75 percent probability.

Steam made headlines in recent month for its new policy to eliminate gambling promotions on its platform.

The former president, meanwhile, has appeared all week at the Republican National Convention and is set to formally accept the nomination.

BetOnline is offering numerous prop bets on Trump's RNC speech.
