GOP Presidential candidate and current frontrunner Donald Trump believes he is owed an apology from Fox News anchor and debate moderator Megyn Kelly after being asked about past disparaging remarks he has made against women, including calling television personality Rosie O’Donnell a “fat slob”.

Trump, now with 11-1 odds of receiving the Republican nomination, later stated that Kelly had “blood coming out of her eyes…..blood coming out of her wherever”.  Many pounced on Trump, claiming his remarks suggested Kelly was on her period during Thursday night’s debate.

Speaking on MSNBC’s “Morning Joe” Monday morning, Trump reiterated his comment was taken out of context.

“Who would say such a thing? I really said nothing, because I wanted to get on to jobs and whatever the next subject was,” Trump said.

“This wasn’t meant to be much of an insult. She asked me a question. It was an inappropriate question. It was a ridiculous question. Even the other candidates came up to me and said that that was absolutely out of line,” Trump added. “She asked me a question that was nasty, and I gave her a pretty tough answer.”

“She should really be apologizing to me, you want to know the truth. And other candidates have said that,” Trump added.
